雖然12月才畢業
但我從10月初就開始投履歷，從LinkedIn上面找職缺，因為整個面試流程下來可能一個月就過去了
RN的職缺一大把，剛開始我也沒什麼概念，不知道該投哪些醫院或單位
研究了幾天，便從芝加哥我知道的醫院開始投
包括Rush、Northwestern Medicine、UIH、以及北邊一些醫院
在美國護理師找工作跟台灣有很多不一樣的地方
以我自己以前在台灣大學畢業後找工作的流程是
畢業前參加了學校舉辦的就業博覽會
然後到每個攤子聽聽介紹，填資料
幾乎沒有所謂的“面試”
後來北醫通知我去加護病房上班，迷迷糊糊的我也答應了
關於單位的選擇就是醫院哪的地方有缺，你就去上班，雖然有些醫院會讓你填志願表，但聽說也是參考用
資料交一交、填一填、銀行帳戶辦一辦，就報道＋上班了
而美國是一間醫院內，每個單位都可以自己發出職缺，以單位去應徵
所以我一個醫院可能就投遞的5個單位
甚至如果你投了一個跟以前工作經驗差很多的單位，人資還會問你理由，為什麼要去這個單位
流程大致是：投履歷--> HR聯絡電話面試--> 單位Hiring manager面試--> 拿到工作或被拒絕
線上投履歷後，幾乎3-5天內就會收到HR的信件預約電話面試，但有些HR會直接打電話過來，但等於你會在沒有準備好的情況下面試，所以建議看到不認識的電話都一律不接，讓他們寫信或發簡訊過來跟你預約面試時間

2. Why us? (萬年第二題）Why this unit/position?
3. The moment that you want to become a nurse
4. Tell me a time that patient/family is not happy with your care (最常被問的問題之一)
5. Tell me about a time you do that go beyond to the patient or family (最常被問的問題之一）
6. Tell me about a time you administer a mistake and what you learned from that
7. Describe a team you worked with and what made the team so successful and how you contribute to the success
8. Tell me a time you have to deal with the unexpected change in your job
9. Your biggest strengths and weakness
10. What's your previous working experience? Patient's common diagnosis? 以前工作的單位多大/幾床?
11. Why you come to the States? （被問過兩次）
12. 為什麼選UIC念碩士？
13. 問工作經歷、學歷、畢業時間、有沒有美國RN license
14. UIC碩士有沒有clinical practicum?
15. What do you learn from your master program? 目前的GPA?
16. What do you think the difference between working in the US and Taiwan? (被問過兩次)
17. Where do you see your nursing career going?
18. What is your biggest change in your nursing career?
19. Tell me a time you advocate for your patient
20. Tell me a time you have conflict with your co-worker
21. What is the goal in the future of your nursing career?
但因為簽證複雜的問題
最後選了西北的加護病房
